AWARD WINNING DOCUMENTARY SELF-SHOOTER & EDITOR

I’m a self-shooting documentary filmmaker with experience on sensitive, access-led productions, often working with vulnerable contributors.

When working in emotionally charged and pressured environments I’m able to maintain composure and capture thoughtful, detailed sequences that reflect the essence of the moment. I try to stay judge the tone of each situation and adapt my approach to help contributors feel at ease.

My undergraduate documentary, 'No Regrets' (2012) won a student RTS award and screened at Sheffield Doc/Fest. My graduate film, 'The Man Who Fell from the Sky' (2013) was developed and broadcast by Channel 4 for a 10pm slot.

I recently completed an MA degree in Documentary Production and produced an observational film, 'Menace to Mentor' which I am hoping to develop for TV.

I’m currently looking to build on this experience in broadcast documentaries, particularly in Shooting AP or DV Director roles, where I can continue learning and contribute to meaningful, character-led storytelling.

I own and shoot with a Sony FX6 & FS7 with audio and lighting packages.
